​Mortimer Road is a contemporary drama about three very different neighbours, each haunted by the absence of someone they love. Their worlds begin to collide as their private rituals of grief spill into one another’s lives.

​Darkly funny, tender and unexpected, the play explores what we cling to after loss—and the unlikely connections that might pull us back towards the living.

​I’m seeking development support to bring together a director and three local actors for a script workshop, culminating in a staged work-in-progress reading. Based in Hertford, I welcome conversations with theatres, producers and creative collaborators interested in helping shape the play’s next stage.
